Bobbie Koepp

Comal County Clerk

Bobbie Koepp was elected County Clerk in November of 2014 and took her oath of office on January 1, 2015. Prior to being elected, she worked in Comal County Court at Law as the Executive Office Manager and Chief Deputy Clerk for over 20 years. Mrs. Koepp also brings her knowledge from working in Guadalupe County District Clerk’s office from 1980-1994, totaling approximately 37 years of service and experience in County Government.

As County Clerk, she has continues to bring services to her constituents with advanced technology. She has worked very diligently and has brought the County Clerk’s Land Records Office into the 21st Century. Mrs. Koepp reached her goal to implement e-recording and on-line access to records, including plat records. The result has been an increase in the accessibility to County services, streamlined procedures, and improved accuracy and efficiency of the recording office. Mrs. Koepp was instrumental in the implementing of e-filing in the courts during her tenure as Office Manager and Chief Deputy and has once again pioneered a program with the District Clerk’s Office to introduce an Electronic Document Management program. It has greatly reduced paper usage in the courts which equates to significant reduction of resources being used toward file storage and maintenance as well as printing costs. Mrs. Koepp is continuing to pursue advanced technology services and will soon introduce a marriage kiosk. This service will allow couples to fill out their marriage applications prior to arriving at the counter.

Bobbie has been married for 39 years to Douglas Koepp; she has two adult children, Amber and Derek, and four beautiful grandchildren.
