Bobbie Koepp

Comal County Clerk

Bobbie Koepp was elected County Clerk in November of 2014 and took her oath of office on January 1, 2015. Prior to being elected, she worked in Comal County Court at Law as the Executive Office Manager and Chief Deputy Clerk for over 20 years. Mrs. Koepp also worked in Guadalupe County District's Clerks' office from 1980-1994; totalling approximately 35 years of service and experience in County Government.

As County Clerk she has continued to bring services to her constituents with advanced technology. Her goal is to implement e-recording, on-line access to records, and use of a marriage kiosk, which allows couples to fill out their marriage applications prior to arriving at the counter. This will result in increased accessibility to county services and streamlining the processes. Therefore, providing all of these services to the public while continuing to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the recording office. During her tenure as Office Manager and Chief Deputy Clerk she was instrumental in the implementation of e-filing in the courts and now as County Clerk is currently working together with the District Clerk to implement an Electronic Document Management program. The goal of this program is to replace paper processes with an electronic process; which will mean less paper in the courts and a significant reduction of resources being used towards file storage and maintenance as well as printing costs.

Bobbie has been married for 37 years to Douglas Koepp, she has two adult children, Amber and Derek, and three beautiful grandchildren. She is an active member of Gruene United Methodist Church and a member of the Urban Recorders Alliance Association, where she is currently serving as secretary.
